Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of Copper Mountain Apartments in Killeen, Texas

KILLEEN, Texas, July 31, 2026 — Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Copper Mountain, a 214-unit multifamily property.

Schenk, Nick Fluellen, Bard Hoover, Peter Flis and John McGregor, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a California-based private client, and procured the buyer, a New York-based family office completing a 1031 exchange.
The property is located at 2501 Bacon Ranch Rd. Built in 1985, the apartment community totals 130,485 rentable square feet on 8.69 acres. The buyer, which now owns more than 700 apartment units in the Killeen market, plans to invest more than $1 million in capital improvements, including exterior building upgrades, new roofs, enhanced lighting and security features and amenity improvements.
