Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of 96-Room Country Inn & Suites in Fergus Falls, Minn.

FERGUS FALLS, Minn., March 5, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 96-room Country Inn & Suites hotel property in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
“Fergus Falls continues to demonstrate strong lodging fundamentals driven by regional tourism, healthcare demand, and consistent Interstate 94 traffic,” said Jon Ruzicka, managing director investments. “The property’s direct connection to the Bigwood Event Center and its excellent visibility along I-94 position it well for long-term success. Ruzicka, Joseph Ferguson and Reed Gizinski, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. Ruzicka procured the buyer.
The Country Inn & Suites is situated on 4.79 acres at 925 Western Ave. Built in 1971 and extensively renovated in 2018 following its conversion to the Country Inn & Suites brand, the two-story hotel is directly connected to the city-owned Bigwood Event Center, the area’s largest convention and meeting facility. The hotel features a Minnesota-shaped indoor pool, along with amenities including a dining area, fitness center and business center.
