Marcus & Millichap Arranges Sale of Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Sterling Heights, Michigan

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., Feb. 26, 2026 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 94-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites located in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
“Both the buyer and seller were seasoned hoteliers, making this transaction seamless,” said Michael Klar, director investments.
Klar and Ebrahim Valliani, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, in association with Paul Kerber, Marcus & Millichap’s Michigan broker of record, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer, both private investors. The transaction received additional support from Allan Miller and Chris Gomes of the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team.

Built in 2017, the hotel features amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center, meeting space and business center.
