Marcus & Millichap Arranges $12.9 Million Sale of Fully Occupied Retail Center in Tampa
May 15, 2025
TAMPA, Fla., May 15, 2025 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of The Village at Causeway, a fully occupied retail center in Tampa, Florida, for $12.9 million.
Marcus & Millichap’s Zach Taylor, Eric Abbott, Evan Cannan and Reid Thedford exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private developer based in Tampa. They also secured the buyer, an institutional strip center investor. Ryan Nee is the firm’s broker of record in Florida.
“Essential service retail strip centers remain one of the most sought-after product types in commercial real estate,” said Eric Abbott, senior associate. “This was a competitive bid process that received many offers. We ultimately closed with an institutional buyer.”
The Village at Causeway, located at 10250–10314 Causeway Blvd., was built in 2019 and spans 6.59 acres at the signalized intersection of Causeway Boulevard and South Falkenburg Road. The center features 13 tenants, including Canopy Road Café, Game Over Tampa, Jimmy John’s, Strandhill Social, One Zo and PT Solutions. It offers direct access to Interstate 75 and is near major national retailers such as Walmart, Costco, Publix and the Brandon Mall, which draws more than 6.9 million visitors annually. Causeway Boulevard is part of a high-growth retail corridor with 4.6 million square feet of retail within a one-mile radius.
