Alex Wolansky, CCIM, managing director investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Houston office, was recognized by Connect CRE as part of its Next Gen Awards program.
The award recognizes emerging professionals who have made notable contributions to the commercial real estate industry. Wolansky was recognized for his leadership of the Lagos-Wolansky Retail Group and his role advising private and institutional investors on retail investment sales, including shopping centers and single-tenant net-leased assets.
He leads a seven-member investment sales team, overseeing operations, mentoring agents and providing data-driven strategy to clients. Over his eight-year career, Wolansky has completed more than 160 transactions totaling over $523 million in sales volume. His experience includes structuring 1031 exchanges and portfolio optimization strategies within the Greater Houston market.
He has earned multiple industry recognitions, including Marcus & Millichap’s National Achievement Award and consecutive Sales Recognition Awards, and has been named to the Houston Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters Retail List annually.
