Rick Lechtman

Rick Lechtman has over two decades of commercial real estate experience and is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing representing institutional, middle market and private clients encompassing an array of property types. Mr. Lechtman is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources. Mr. Lechtman is also a member of both the Special Assets Services Group (SAS) and Note Advisory Services (NAS) and has represented numerous institutional lender, private equity firms, debt funds and special servicers in advisory and disposition of lender real estate owned (REO), performing and non-performing notes. Over the course of his career, he has closed more than $2 billion in transactions.

Rick also previously held positions at Ackman-Ziff, CBRE, JP Morgan and Nomura Securities Co. In 2008, Mr. Lechtman launched the New York City Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, serving as Founding Chapter President and received the NAIOP Merit Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Chapter President. Additionally, Mr. Lechtman served on the NAIOP Corporate Board of Directors from 2011 to 2016 and is currently President Elect of the New York City Chapter.

Mr. Lechtman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Tulane University and received his Advanced Professional Certificate in Real Estate from New York University (NYU) Schack Institute of Real Estate.
