Glen Scher

Glen Scher is one of the top multifamily brokers in Los Angeles, with over 450 transactions and $1.4 billion in closed sales across LA, and the Ventura & Santa Barbara counties. He is a Senior Managing Director at Marcus & Millichap and co-founder of the LAAA Team (www.LAAA.com), one of Southern California’s most active multifamily brokerage groups, consistently closing 40+ deals per year.

He began his career at Marcus & Millichap in 2014, shortly after graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Economics and a minor in Accounting. Early on, Glen focused on the southern San Fernando Valley (Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Valley Village, and Toluca Lake), where he quickly established himself as a market expert. By 2016, he was recognized as one of the most active multifamily agents in the region, earning the Rookie of the Year award from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

Marcus & Millichap promoted Glen to Senior Associate in 2017, less than three years into his career, and he soon began mentoring a team of four junior associates. In 2019, he partnered with longtime colleague and close friend, Filip Niculete, to form the LAAA Team (formerly Los Angeles Apartment Advisors).

Before entering real estate, Glen was a standout Division I golfer at UC Santa Barbara. Over the course of his four-year collegiate career, he captured three individual titles and recorded more than 25 top-ten finishes, earning a national ranking among the top 50 collegiate golfers in the country. In his junior year, Glen was named Big West Golfer of the Year and UC Santa Barbara Male Athlete of the Year, becoming the first and only golfer in UCSB history to receive the university’s highest athletic honor across all sports.

Today, Glen lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife and their 4-year-old son. He’s also a proud member of Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake, where he enjoys not just the golf, but the strong sense of community and family-friendly events.
