Charlie Smith is an investment advisor operating out of Marcus & Millichap's Baton Rouge office, specializing in 100+ unit multifamily assets throughout the Southeast/Midwest. Joining the firm in 2024, Charlie brings a fresh perspective to the commercial real estate market, driven by his consistency, eagerness and ambition to deliver exceptional results for his clients.

Charlie's journey in real estate began with Redmellon Restoration and Development, where he gained hands-on experience in various facets of the industry under the mentorship of Neal Morris, a respected developer and attorney. His extensive background includes planning, financing, zoning, permitting, and project management, equipping him with the skills necessary to navigate complex transactions and provide valuable insights to his clients.

Licensed in Florida and Louisiana, Charlie is committed to helping clients maximize their investment opportunities while contributing to the betterment of communities. Outside of work, he is passionate about sports and enjoys staying active in the gym, playing sports, and cold plunging.

Charlie lives in New Orleans and holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from Tulane University’s School of Architecture.
