Benjamin Smith

Ben Smith is a retired U.S. Army Officer and Assoicate with the National Manufactured Housing Communities Group in the Tampa office. He brings over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development, having personally acquired more than 80 properties representing nearly $20 million in total sales and ownership volume.

Ben specializes in creative financing strategies, including seller financing, self-directed IRAs, and 1031 exchanges and focuses on value-add acquisitions across a diversified portfolio of short and long term residential rentals.

A licensed Florida General Contractor, Ben is actively involved in development projects, new construction, and GP/LP ventures. He is also committed to giving back, mentoring transitioning service members through the DoD Skillbridge program to help them build successful careers in real estate.

He holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Intelligence and Technology from National Intelligence University.
