Steven D. Weinstock

Steven Weinstock serves as senior vice president and regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office. He is also the national director of the firm’s Self-Storage Division and Land and Redevelopment Division, overseeing the strategic deployment of professionals specializing in the marketing and sale of self-storage facilities and land across the United States and Canada. Steven joined Marcus & Millichap in 2001 as a multifamily agent with the Detroit office, transitioning to management in 2008.

With more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Steven has represented owners in the disposition of diverse property types, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and self-storage assets. He has held leadership roles across the industry, including managing multimillion-square-foot portfolios, overseeing property leasing and management operations, and founding his own real estate company.
Steven earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and currently serves on the executive board of the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation, where he chairs the real estate education program responsible for mentoring future industry leaders.

Originally from Detroit, Steven earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, swimming and traveling with his wife, Lisa.

Steven is the Designated Managing Broker for Marcus & Millichap in Illinois.
