Andreas Makris is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, specializing in self-storage investment sales throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. He advises clients on self-storage acquisitions, dispositions and 1031 exchange opportunities, with a focus on maximizing value in competitive regional markets. Makris has completed more than 19 transactions totaling over $60 million in volume. His background as both an owner and operator of self-storage properties for more than a decade provides him with practical insight into asset performance, operations and long-term investment strategy. This hands-on experience, combined with his disciplined approach to listening and understanding client objectives, allows him to deliver tailored solutions aligned with investor goals.

Before entering commercial real estate, Makris spent 10 years working in his family’s restaurant business, which operated seven locations, after earning a degree in Business Administration and Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University. He has also personally acquired more than $10 million in commercial real estate, further strengthening his perspective as an investor. Outside of work, Makris enjoys cooking, exploring new cuisines and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular exercise and running.
